The Lake Shrine Meditation Gardens are open free of charge, Wednesday through Sunday for guests who reserve in advance. This reservation is for one passenger vehicle.
For organized group visits arriving in a large van or mini-coach, please fill out our Group Tours form.
Two arrival times are offered daily Wednesday through Saturday:
- 10:00am — please arrive between 10:00am and 11:00am
- 1:00pm — please arrive between 1:00pm and 2:00pm
All reserved guests can stay until 4:30pm.
Sunday, because of morning Temple services, one Meditation Garden arrival time is offered:
- 1:00pm — please arrive between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
Reservation Tips
Reservations open each Saturday morning at 10am for the week ahead. Go to the Lake Shrine Eventbrite main page just before 10, and refresh the page while you wait. Open events will appear and you can make your reservation selection. Once you have made your selection, Eventbrite will hold your place while you complete the steps.

Why do we require reservations?
Meditation Garden Features
Lakeside paths, meditation areas and shoreline docks are open for quiet contemplative activity. The Windmill Chapel is open for individual meditation and prayer. Our Visitor Center is open for book and gift sales. The Gift Shop featuring Indian specialties is open Thursday through Sunday. Restrooms and Handicap facilities are available. The Temple is open only on Sundays.
