User testimonial:
“I just spent the morning at the Disaster Recovery Center at the old Westside Pavillion on Pico. I can’t recommend it enough. Every agency I could think of was there. We were able to speak with HCD to obtain our decal numbers and how to obtain the title docs. We applied with DMV for our pink slips, the state for birth and marriage certificates, Social Security for copies of our cards, the county to stop our property tax, DWP to stop our service, our representative to get a passport fee waiver. So much information and so many agencies in one place. It was great. You just walk in. No appointment necessary. It’s on the corner of Westwood and Pico where the Landmark theaters used to be. Staff will direct you to underground parking. You can speak with FEMA agents; city, county, state and federal agencies; NGOs that provide assistance; basically, anything you can think of.
