SRF Lake Shrine 75th Anniversary Celebration With Brother Chidananda

On Sunday, August 20, 1950, Paramahansa Yogananda dedicated Lake Shrine as a Self-Realization Fellowship sacred site, a “Temple without walls”, open to all truth-seeking souls. 75 years later, on January 7, 2025, Lake Shrine was miraculously spared from the inferno of the devastating Pacific Palisades residential fire. This year, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, we celebrate both the founding and the preservation of this world class shrine.

Please join Brother Chidananda, president and spiritual head of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, for a special event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine. This special occasion, will take place in the Temple sanctuary, followed by a reception.
