Paramahansa Yogananda dedicated Lake Shrine as a sacred site honoring all world religions on August 20, 1950.

Next Sunday, August 20, our temple will pay tribute to this anniversary by offering an East-West Sunday service theme. Our minister, Brother Satyananda, and special guest, Swami Nishtananda Giri from our ashrams in India will lead the morning service. A showing of the historic Dedication film with footage of Paramahansa Yogananda will be included in the event. Join us on Sunday, August 20 for 10 AM meditation and 11 AM service to experience and enjoy this special East-West tribute.
