A Day Of Remembrance and Renewal at Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine:

January 7, 2026. 10 AM – 4:30 PM

We will open our gardens and our hearts to you, our Palisades friends and neighbors, on the one year anniversary of the Palisades Fire.

Important Information:

• Parking is available and the gates will be open at Lake Shrine Temple, 17080 Sunset Blvd, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. For those requiring accessible parking at Lake level, please identify your special needs to the Temple gate attendant.
• Guests may arrive at any time during the open hours and stay until 4:30 PM.
• This is day is offered free of charge and no reservations are required
• The day is open to all, but is especially for our Palisades and Malibu neighbors and our Lake Shrine Temple congregation who have endured losses or gone through fire recovery
• Each hour, on the hour, a gong will be sounded to signal a moment of silence and guests may practice silent reflection where they are around the lake
• Guests may take a moment to write a memory and offer a provided flower to honor the memory at our gazebo in the Court of Religions
• Guests are invited to take photos in our gardens and in particular to meet and pose with friends at our designated lakeside photo area under the Golden Lotus Archway
• Volunteer hosts will be available to greet and assist guests
• Refreshments will be provided on the Court of Religions

Come to our sanctuary of peace to reflect and contemplate your next chapter. We stand together as a community in our recovery, rebuilding, and renewal.
